Megan took to Instagram to announce her separation from wife Jess. After a decade together, the couple has decided to go their separate ways. Schutt mentioned that their daughter, Rylee, will continue to be their top priority as they focus on co-parenting while maintaining a respectful, non-romantic relationship.
“Hey everyone! Life doesn’t always go as planned, and Jess and I have decided to end our relationship. It’s been an action packed 10 years and I’m so thankful to have had so many amazing memories. We have been so lucky to have created our biggest achievement and gift, in Rylee. Our beautiful girl will always be our number one priority… and we’ll still look to role model a happy, healthy relationship; just not a romantic one,” Schutt wrote on Instagram.

Megan also cites reason behind the couple’s step
Meanwhile, Megan also shared the reason behind their separation, explaining that it had not been an easy period for them. She expressed gratitude for their journey together and added that both she and Jess would now focus on becoming the best versions of themselves, not just for their own growth, but for their daughter as well.
“There’s no one I would rather co-parent with. It hasn’t been an easy period for us, but I consider myself lucky for the journey we have had. Jess and I can now spend the time becoming the best versions of ourselves, not only for us, but for Rylee too,” she further added.

Megan has been a standout performer for Australia in white-ball cricket. Representing her country in over 220 matches, the pace spearhead has claimed 286 wickets, often delivering match-winning spells. In T20Is, she holds an impressive bowling average of 17, while in ODIs, her average stands at 23. Notably, she was part of Australia’s ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup triumph in England in 2022.
