NEW DELHI: Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took to social media platform X to humorously quash viral rumours claiming that U.S. President Donald Trump had brokered a “ceasefire” between him and former England captain Michael Vaughan. The two ex-cricketers have become known for their light-hearted jabs and ongoing banter, which escalated once again during the recently concluded India-England Test series that ended in a 2-2 draw.Jaffer and Vaughan regularly trade witty barbs on social media, especially when India or England suffer defeats. Their playful feud became a recurring subplot throughout the five-match Test series.
