Notable players sold at DPL 2025 Auction

Simarjeet Singh emerged as the most expensive buy, going to Central Delhi Kings for ₹39 lakh.

Nitish Rana and Digvesh Rathi also attracted significant bids, reflecting the franchises’ focus on proven performers.

The auction saw a strong interest in young talents, with the likes of Aaryaveer Kohli (Virat Kohli’s nephew), Aaryavir and Vedant Sehwag (Virender Sehwag’s kids) securing contracts with new and existing franchises.

Teams used their Right-to-Match (RTM) cards strategically, especially for Category A and B players.

With squads finalized, teams will now begin their preparations for DPL 2025 season, set to kick off later this month. The league, now the second-richest T20 competition in India, promises high-octane action and a platform for Delhi’s best cricketing talent to shine.
