Should Shubman Gill focus on breaking more records after this performance?

The message from his parents struck a deeper chord. His father said, “Shubman beta, well played. Aaj teri batting dekhke bahut maza aaya. Aur dil mein bahut shukun mila…bahut hi proud feel huwa.” His mother added, “Bahut achcha laga tumhari batting dekhkar. Keep going, God bless you.”Visibly moved, Gill responded: “This message means a lot to me. Growing up, I played almost all my cricket for my dad. He and my best friend are the only two people I listen to when it comes to cricket. But yes… it also reminded me that I missed my triple hundred!”Gill’s monumental innings helped India post 587 all out, their highest Test total in England in 35 years. The bowlers capitalised on the momentum, reducing England to 25 for 3 before a brief fightback by Joe Root and Harry Brook took them to 77 for 3 at stumps, still trailing by 510 runs.
