IPL 2025: CSK vs SRH Match 43 – Stats Preview of Players’ Records and Approaching Milestones

Two struggling teams will face each other  in Match 43 of IPL 2025 as last-placed Chennai Super Kings host second-last placed Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 25.

Both teams’ last match was against MI and both are coming after a loss. CSK’s struggle was evident against Mumbai as a slow start led to their fall once again despite the 17-year old Ayush Mhatre’s impressive start. All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube got fifties but Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell Santner slowed the Super Kings down at the death. Out to chase, Ryan Rickelton struggled up top, but both Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav made unbeaten half-centuries to lead MI to a nine-wicket win.

MI then went on to fully wreck SRH at Hyderabad as Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar got two wickets each in the powerplay. SRH were looking at a record low total before Heinrich Klaasen and Abhinav Manohar rescued them. However, Boult returned at the death to keep SRH to a low enough total. For the second time in two matches, Rohit Sharma stole the show in an easy chase.

Both the teams have the same amount of points with only net run rate separating them, so the loser of this contest will certainly walk out as the last-placed.
