The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 hosted two games on Saturday (19th April). GT vs DC was the first game that took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, while RR vs LSG was played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
In GT vs DC, the Gujarat Titans beat the Delhi Capitals by seven wickets. Asked to bat, the visitors lost Abishek Porel (18) early, but after that, Karun Nair (31) and KL Rahul (28) added 35 runs for the second wicket to get crucial runs in the powerplay.

After the duo got out, skipper Axar Patel (39) and Tristan Stubbs (31) took the command in the middle, adding 53 runs for the fourth wicket. In the end, Ashutosh Sharma (37) finished the innings on a high as Delhi Capitals posted a total of 203 for eight in GT vs DC. For the Gujarat Titans, Prasidh Krishna picked four wickets.

Gujarat Titans had a worst possible start to their innings as skipper Shubman Gill got run out early. But after that, Sai Sudharsan (36) and Jos Buttler (97*) put pressure on Delhi Capitals bowlers with their 60-run stand.
Buttler went on to play his best innings this season and was supported well by Sherfane Rutherford (43) as the duo together put on 119 runs for the third wicket. With ten runs needed in the last over, Rahul Tewatia slammed six and four to finish the GT vs DC game with four balls to spare.
In RR vs LSG, Lucknow Super Giants snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as they beat Rajasthan Royals by two runs. Opting to bat, the visitors didn’t have the kind of start they would’ve wanted as they lost in-form Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran early.
Soon after that, Rishabh Pant also perished as the visitors were reduced to 54 for three. However, after that, Aiden Markram (66) and Ayush Badoni (50) brought their team back into the game. Both the batters slammed vital half-centuries and added 76 runs for the fourth wicket.
In the end, Abdul Samad (30*) played a brutal innings and powered Lucknow Super Giants to a total of 180 for five.
Rajasthan Royals opened with 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi (34) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (74). The move paid off incredibly well as both the left-handers went hammer and tongs at the opposition and took their team off to a flying start.
While the youngster slammed a first-ball six, Jaiswal hit a brilliant half-century as the duo added 85 runs for the opening partnership. After that, stand-in skipper Riyan Parag (39) joined hands with Jaiswal and stitched 62 62-run partnership to take the team close to the target.
Lucknow Super Giants made a strong comeback with quick wickets, and the game moved to the last over, with Rajasthan needing nine runs. Avesh Khan then oozed his class with the ball as he defended it against Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel to take his team home.
