Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul couldn’t score big in his maiden outing for the franchise in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The 10th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between the teams is taking place at the Dr YSR ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
KL Rahul, who walked out to bat at number four, came out all guns blazing as he slammed the boundary on the first ball that he faced. He then followed it up with the gigantic six and even after that didn’t stop as he slammed his third ball for another four.
With the way KL Rahul started his innings, it was almost certain that he would come up with something special. But that wasn’t the case as the Delhi Capitals batters couldn’t carry on the start that he had and was removed in the very next over after he arrived to bat.
KL Rahul was removed by Zeeshan Ansari in the 12th over. The leg-spinner fired the delivery down the leg-side and the batter went for a sweep and missed it altogether. The leg stump was uprooted as his cameo came to an end. Rahul was furious with himself after getting out and he dropped the F-bomb.
