Clinical bowling performance from the West Indies restrict Pakistan
Earlier Pakistan struggled to post a competitive total, finishing at 133 for 9 in their 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman’s 20 off 19 and skipper Salman Agha’s 38 off 33 were the ones to show some resistance. Hasan Nawaz stood out with a powerful 40 off just 23 balls, providing a late surge. However, the rest of the batting lineup crumbled under pressure, failing to build any meaningful partnerships throughout the innings.
West Indies bowlers delivered an all-round performance, led by the brilliant Holder, who claimed 4 for 19 in a fiery spell. Gudakesh Motie picked up 2 wickets, keeping the pressure on Pakistan. Holder’s disciplined bowling at both ends of the innings proved crucial, as he broke the backbone of the batting order. Overall, it was a clinical bowling display from the Caribbean side.
