The IPL 2025 could be a turning point for Punjab Kings in their disappointing run in the league so far since its inception. Punjab Kings have built a new team from scratch and it has some of the promising players capable of taking this team to new heights.
Punjab Kings is one of the three teams who have been playing the Indian Premier League from the beginning but are yet to win an IPL trophy. However, they changed the complexion of their team after the last season, including the coaching staff.
The head coach Ricky Ponting has played a key role in building this new team which has Shreyas Iyer as the captain. PBKS have a powerful middle order in the form of Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell who have the ability to turn around the games if they get going.
Punjab will play their first four home games at the New PCA Stadium in Mullanpur, which has been their home ground since the last season. In the second half of the league, they will play three home games at the picturesque Dharamsala.
